Dear concerned citizen, In the wake
of recent toddler tragedies involving children leaving
their homes unnoticed, The First Coast Locksmiths
Association (FCLA) is initiating a project to help
prevent these tragedies from occurring.
A simple device which, when
properly installed, would remain locked even when
small children figure out how to open conventional door
locks, would prevent the child from leaving before a
parent is aware of the danger. The project will include
education to young parents, providing the locking device
at little or no cost and offering installation according
to the families’ ability to pay. FCLA is seeking help
from community and business leaders as well as potential
volunteers in the effort to get this program under way.
We are in need of every type of expertise in areas such
as: non profit organization; fund raising; advertising;
event planning and other skills. If you have something
to offer in this endeavor, please contact FCLA at
www.FCLA.net. Thank you. Richard Sigler Vice President
First Coast Locksmith Association (904) 398-1648
